"Muhazirat-e-Seerat" is a book based on the lectures of Dr. Mahmood Ahmad Ghazi. This book has 626 pages. It does not only discuss the life of the Prophet but also talks about the science of Seerah. There are hundreds of books about Seerah in the Urdu language but few of them explains how science of Seerah developed, what stages it passed through, and for what purposes scholars compiled this literature. This book is an excellent source in this regard. The book contains 12 lectures. About half of these lectures focus on the history and compilation of the science of Seerah. In these lectures, efforts have been made to respond to Western orientalists about their misunderstandings and confusions. At the end of each lecture, a question-and-answer session helps us to clear doubts and objections. The Important topics of the book include: the need and importance of studying Seerah, Seerah and its related sciences, Seerah and the State of Madinah, studying Seerah in the modern age, and the study of Seerah in Pakistan and India.
