This work has been composed with the purpose of interpreting and expanding upon the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the most excellent of narratives (Ahsan al-Qasas). Among the many luminous aspects of the Prophet’s blessed life, one delicate yet profound dimension concerns his noble practice regarding fingernails. The book reveals that his fingers and nails were exemplary, the manner of trimming them was exemplary, the sharing of the cut nails with his devoted companions was exemplary, their burial was exemplary, the instruments used for trimming were exemplary, and the teachings he imparted concerning them remain exemplary. Even the day he designated for trimming the nails was exemplary, as was the timing he prescribed.
