The present work, titled Īmān-e-Wālidayn-e-Muṣṭafā ﷺ (The Faith of the Parents of the Holy Prophet ﷺ), is a valuable addition to religious Urdu literature on its subject. The book has been divided into five chapters. The first chapter presents the life accounts of the blessed parents of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and the virtues of his noble family in the light of books on Seerah and Hadith. The following three chapters separately present the Qur’anic verses, Hadith traditions, and statements of eminent scholars used as evidence for each respective viewpoint. In the fifth chapter, a historical survey of the writings on the faith of the Prophet’s parents ﷺ has been provided, along with a critical analysis, culminating in the determination of the preferred position.
